About Dominik Gorecki

I’m Dominik Gorecki, an engineering leader and the writer behind nikGo. This site collects my original essays and research-oriented work on software delivery, applied AI, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), research workflows, and the relationship between technology and cognition.
My practical work spans backend architecture, product-minded engineering delivery, frontend systems, automation, and applied AI. I write from that engineering perspective: to clarify a problem, test a claim against available evidence, and make trade-offs legible.
Areas of focus
- Engineering leadership, delivery, and maintainable system design
- Applied AI, developer tools, and agentic software delivery
- Retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge systems, and research workflows
- Cognition, decision-making, and the social consequences of technology
Scope and boundaries
The site is a record of analysis, synthesis, and opinion—not individualized professional, medical, legal, financial, or mental-health advice. When a topic reaches beyond my engineering experience or needs specialist review, I aim to identify that limit, cite the underlying source material, and avoid presenting a general essay as expert guidance.
