Editorial and Corrections Policy

nikGo publishes original writing by Dominik Gorecki on engineering, AI, research workflows, cognition, and related social questions. This page explains how that work is researched, revised, and corrected.

Research and sourcing

When a piece makes factual or technical claims, I prefer primary materials: original research, official documentation, standards, public records, direct product documentation, and first-party statements. Secondary reporting and commentary can add context, but they are not substitutes for checking the original material when it is available.

Claims that can change quickly—such as product behavior, policies, prices, regulations, or current events—should be checked near publication or material revision. A cited source is evidence for a claim, not a guarantee that every interpretation is settled.

Citations and links

I link to sources so readers can inspect the basis for important claims and distinguish source material from my analysis. Links should identify the destination honestly and point to the most direct available source. Not every statement in an essay has a footnote; explanatory framing, synthesis, and clearly marked opinion are part of the author’s contribution.

Updates and corrections

Material updates should carry a visible modified date on the article. If a substantive factual error is confirmed, I will correct the affected text, preserve the article’s canonical URL when possible, and add a concise note about the correction when that context is useful to readers.

To report an error, attribution concern, or broken citation, contact Dominik on LinkedIn or open a public repository issue when public discussion is appropriate. Include the canonical URL, the relevant passage, and supporting evidence. The corrections log is maintained with the site’s editorial materials.

Independence, conflicts, and commercial relationships

nikGo does not present paid placement, sponsorship, or affiliate links as independent editorial judgment. If a future article includes a material commercial relationship, sponsorship, affiliate relationship, or conflict that could reasonably affect the reader’s interpretation, that relationship will be disclosed on the relevant page.

Use of AI-assisted tools

AI-assisted tools may be used in research support, drafting, editing, code, and image-production workflows. Their use does not replace author responsibility: published claims, citations, and editorial choices remain subject to human review. AI-generated material is not treated as a source on its own; source links and the article text should make the evidentiary basis inspectable. Where an image or substantive content is AI-generated, the relevant page should disclose it when doing so helps a reader understand the work.

High-stakes topics

The site is not a source of personalized medical, legal, financial, mental-health, or other regulated professional advice. Articles may discuss research or public issues in these areas, but readers should consult qualified professionals for decisions involving their own circumstances. I do not represent general commentary as specialist review.

Privacy and future measurement

nikGo does not make behavior-level analytics or cookie practices retroactive by implication. If those tools are introduced, a privacy policy describing the collection and use will be published before collection begins.
